코레일은 지난 추석 연휴 승차권 예매 기간에 적발된 암표 의심 사례 35건에 대해 국토교통부와 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다고 오늘(2일) 밝혔습니다.

코레일이 수사를 의뢰한 대상은 암표 제보를 받은 사례 25건과 코레일 직원이 암행 단속원(미스터리 쇼퍼) 방식으로 단속한 사례 10건입니다.

적발된 사례 가운데 암표 판매자 8명에 대해서는 철도회원 자격을 박탈했다고 코레일은 설명했습니다.

코레일은 또 차내 검표를 강화해 지난 20일 호남선 열차 안에서 AI로 만든 위조 승차권을 제시한 승객을 적발해 철도특사경에 인계했다고 밝혔습니다.

해당 승객은 유가증권위조 협의로 입건돼 검찰 송치를 앞둔 것으로 전해졌습니다.

코레일은 "암표 거래와 승차권 위조는 명백한 불법 행위"라며 "시민 제보와 암행 단속,싱글 홀덤게임차내 검표를 한층 강화해 엄정 대응하고,일본 토토로 카페정당한 이용객의 권리를 지키겠다"고 밝혔습니다.
